About Darren J. Thorne for West Virginia
Darren Thorne is a lifelong Hampshire County resident, farmer, and Christian conservative serving in the West Virginia State Senate. Raised by a single mother, Darren learned the values of hard work, faith, and personal responsibility early in life. A commercial poultry farmer and former owner operator truck driver, he entered public service to defend personal liberty, protect agriculture, and stand up for families. Darren and his wife have been married for more than 32 years and raised their twins on their family farm.
